Position Summary

The Director HR Business Partner supports assigned business leader(s) and organization(s), implementing programs to support leadership and talent development and ensuring HR programs are aligned to drive business results. Identify, prioritize and communicate business needs to Talent Management, Centers of Expertise (CoEs) and HR Operations. Act as employee advocate and assist in implementing programs to increase employee engagement.

Specific Responsibilities

Serves as a strategic HR Business Partner with a designated business unit(s). Acts as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues. Communicating proactively with the HR Team and business management, to develop and implement integrated solutions. Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

At an individual level, work with managers and employees to chart a course within an organization for his or her career path and career development by discussing short and long term career objectives and mapping the required competencies needed to work toward targeted career goal.

At an organizational level, prepare metrics/analytics to inform the business of the state of their talent pipelines, implement strategies to proactively manage talent and risks, and assess individual and organizational outcomes.

Provide analytics to inform the CHRO and VP Talent Management the critical insights into why employees are leaving the company, what specific workplace issues need addressing, and how issues can be addressed to improve employee retention. Assist in the development and execution of retention strategies.

Assist in the development and execution of an Engagement Strategy to include employee surveys and periodic pulse surveys, working closely with HR Business Partners to ensure the development of action plans and follow-up for increasing engagement and retention in order to drive business performance.

Partner with our Diversity & Inclusion team to execute action plans aimed at attracting, retaining and advancing underrepresented talent and driving a culture of inclusion.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; or equivalent years of related work experience SPHR/PHR, SHRM credentials strongly preferred Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices, with efficient process to stay on top of constant changes High degree of integrity and honesty; ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in complex and unique situations Strong influencing skills with the ability to motivate employees and collaborate across multiple geographies and cultures Ability to understand and interpret data, make recommendations and take action utilizing that data. Must be organized and have ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision and work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Solid presentation, speaking, writing & communication skills to a wide range of group sizes.

Minimum Job Experience Required

7+ years of HR Generalist experience with strong performance in all major areas of HR Proven work experience as an HR Business Partner including ability to partner and build excellent relationships within the business Proven project management experience
