Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Abode Care Partners. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to residents and patients across various settings.

Responsibilities
  • Provide complex and geriatric care to residents and patients in partnership with non-physician practitioners and other interprofessional team members.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership teams, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, patients, and families to ensure high-quality care.
  • Assume collaborating physician duties for nurse practitioners and physician assistants, providing support and guidance in their clinical roles.
  • Audit medical orders and documentation for each provider monthly to ensure compliance with state and regional regulatory frameworks.
  • Identify new growth opportunities with skilled facilities and/or other senior living facilities in the market/region.
  • Participate in company frontline/backup call processes for timely response to acute changes of condition.
  • Focus on quality outcomes, including care path compliance, productivity, prevention of avoidable transfers, and decrease in polypharmacy and costs of care.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of medicine and a Doctor of Medicine.
  • Two or more years of administrative leadership experience in healthcare.
  • Clinical medical experience of seven years or more preferred.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics; qualification in Geriatrics preferred.
  • Practicing physician currently licensed under the provisions of the State Board of Medicine.
  • Active unrestricted licensure to practice in the state of employment.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration registration.

USD $187,000.00 - $230,000.00 / Year
