Job Summary

The Director HR Business Partner will support assigned business leaders and organizations in implementing programs to support leadership and talent development, ensuring HR programs are aligned to drive business results. This role will identify, prioritize, and communicate business needs to Talent Management, Centers of Expertise (CoEs), and HR Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as a strategic HR Business Partner with a designated business unit(s), acting as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues.
  • Communicates proactively with the HR Team and business management to develop and implement integrated solutions.
  • Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
  • Works with managers and employees to chart a course within an organization for their career path and career development.
  • Prepares metrics/analytics to inform the business of the state of their talent pipelines, implements strategies to proactively manage talent and risks, and assesses individual and organizational outcomes.
  • Provides analytics to inform the CHRO and VP Talent Management of critical insights into why employees are leaving the company, what specific workplace issues need addressing, and how issues can be addressed to improve employee retention.
  • Assists in the development and execution of retention strategies, including employee surveys and periodic pulse surveys.
  • Partners with the Diversity & Inclusion team to execute action plans aimed at attracting, retaining, and advancing underrepresented talent and driving a culture of inclusion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; or equivalent years of related work experience.
  • SPHR/PHR, SHRM credentials strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices, with efficient process to stay on top of constant changes.
  • High degree of integrity and honesty, ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in complex and unique situations.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to motivate employees and collaborate across multiple geographies and cultures.
  • Ability to understand and interpret data, make recommendations, and take action utilizing that data.
  • Must be organized and have the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision and work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Solid presentation, speaking, writing, and communication skills to a wide range of group sizes.
