KEY OBJECTIVE:

This position coordinates, oversees and executes the Onboarding and Training initiatives within the Commercial Insurance Field.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with CI leadership on training initiatives for new hires and professional development for existing staff in support of implementation strategies and tactics for new products, processes and technologies. Manage, enhance and execute the “CI Advisor” mentor program For new experienced hires. Partner with field and Home Office subject matter experts and leaders to design and continually update training materials. Staying on top of new and emerging strategies and guidance. Provide targeted line of business focused onboarding and training. Enhance and execute IP specific training support in partnership with IP leaders and specialists. Collaborate and assist on training and development programs for our Chubb Associate Program. Act as liaison and collaborate with Corporate Underwriting Audit team, including the training response coordination post audit. Act as liaison and collaborate with Chubb Compliance and Legal teams to provide compliance training and support. Conduct needs assessments from field managers to identify training gaps and create custom programs accordingly. Collect feedback from new hires and continuously improve the onboarding process based on their suggestions and needs. Other projects and initiatives, as related to learning, development and quality for the CI field.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

5-10 years underwriting Commercial Insurance, including property, liability, package, auto, workers compensation, umbrella, international, and/or marine lines of business Demonstrated technical acumen in risk selection, assessment, terms and pricing, including review, coaching or training in these areas.  Experience in file review or audit of commercial policies Ability to think creatively, manage and resolve issues and problems. Ability to present virtually and in person in front of large groups. Proven time management skills, communications, interpersonal and negotiations skills Ability to work independently, show initiative, as well as strong collaboration and team work Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and other Chubb business applications.
