WHAT YOU'LL DO

Manage the performance of your in-field team using the Peak Sales model which will include in-store visitation, performance evaluation, side-by-side selling, and other staff assessments as needed.  Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to direct reports to develop skill sets based on overall program goals. Provide program direction and development; manage program key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide prompt creation and communication of all reports including field and channel feedback, activities, and competitive insights. Organize new hire training and execute staffing and scheduling of top talent in your market. Review and analyze market, territory, and store-level performance, creating action plans with team members to drive results. Recommend service and product enhancements to improve the sales potential of field reps. Achieve KPIs and strive to consistently meet sales goals and program objectives. Convert client interactions into sales by thoroughly understanding the features and benefits of Freedom Solar products. Display a professional demeanor while representing our client and BDS.  Travel within a designated market up to 70% of the time. Complete all administrative duties and other tasks requested by management.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Experience and Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in retail management, field management, or territory management; prior experience in a field sales/retail environment is preferred. Experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is highly desirable.

Skills and Attributes:

Great attention to detail and a professional demeanor. Ability to manage, evaluate, and train team members remotely. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships and demonstrate strong customer service skills. Must possess strong self-confidence and the ability to build personal credibility. Compelling presentation and influencing skills. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
