About the Role

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an experienced Area General Manager to lead our operations in Seattle and Spokane. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales, operational, and financial growth through the IPS Operating System and Continuous Improvement Process Solution (CIPS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager to guide and direct the sales team.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee operations, evaluate business performance against goals and plans, and ensure adherence to company policies on employee conduct, safety, quality decision-making, and operational procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion the implementation of the Continuous Improvement Process (CIPS) program at the location by decentralizing decision-making and empowering employees with data and visual management tools to eliminate waste.
  • Financial Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team to ensure alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-term strategy. Monitor financial performance through P&L reviews, initiate corrective actions for deviations, develop and implement the annual operating plan, and use monthly reports to guide the management team in achieving targeted results.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of electric motor/generator repair experience
  • BA/BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or other technical field
  • Integrated Supply Chain discipline
  • Knowledge of electric motor/generator manufacturing process or repair techniques
  • Continuous improvement/Lean manufacturing experience
  • Successful operations leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as presentation and computer skills
  • Valid Driver's License

Salary/Pay Range
  • $150,000-$185,000 per year
