POSITION SUMMARY:  The Account Sales Manager-Architect is responsible for establishing relationships with architects in designated territory, providing valuable expert advice, educating them on product offerings, building loyalty, and driving Andersen sales.

Highlights of your role

·Research, Identify, and establish relationships with members of the architectural community whose influence will lead to specification and purchase of Andersen products

·Effectively and professionally present AIA Continuing Educational learning units to architectural firms

·Actively pursue business development in partnership with the Andersen Developer, Builder and Dealer reps in the area

·Plan and host factory tours with targeted architects

·Provide product and technical solutions on individual project opportunities

·Travel required throughout the assigned territory, including overnight stays, as needed, approximately 20%, valid driver’s license is required

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Propose and implement solutions to drive profitable Andersen business growth and expand customer relationships. Work collaboratively via team selling to ensure customer derived opportunities are effectively executed and supported. Presents path for business improvement uniquely facilitated by Andersen solutions and ties insights back to unique strengths in market. Develops distinct strategy for engaging critical stakeholders on specific deals. Engages joint selling efforts with customer.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and/ or minimum of 5 years of relevant selling experience Demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships with trade customer, channel partners and peers. Evidence of strong analytical and fact-based planning skills. Disciplined and effective use of CRM and sales process methodology. Ability to understand customer needs, market trends to align value and create mutually beneficial business strategies. Demonstrated ability to present solutions to multiple level stakeholders leveraging a variety of delivery methods. Ability to collaborate in team selling environment.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.
