DNV is seeking a Program Manager  to lead our energy efficiency programs for a Detroit-based client, DTE, specifically focused on the commercial and industrial business segments. This role is based at our DNV office in [Detroit, Michigan], presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site. What You'll do:

Lead the development, implementation, and management of energy efficiency programs for commercial and industrial customers. Oversee all aspects of program delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Manage and mentor a team of analysts, outreach professionals, and engineers to ensure effective program execution. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to achieve program goals and deliverables. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and program success. Utilize data analytics to monitor program performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes. Conduct regular program reviews and provide detailed reports to clients and senior management. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness. Represent DNV in client meetings, industry conferences, and public forums as needed. What is Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field Minimum of six (6) years of experience in program management, preferably within the energy efficiency or utility industry Proven leadership experience in managing and delivering large-scale programs Strong understanding of energy efficiency technologies and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, primarily within the Detroit area Valid driver’s license Strong written and verbal English communication skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams Strategic mindset with a focus on results and continuous improvement. The knowledge and confidence to provide strategic guidance and work directly with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with managing multiple, shifting priorities and deadlines during weekly task loads. Ability to negotiate changing priorities Experience in a consulting environment is desired We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening

What is Preferred:

Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field Knowledge with utility and/or energy efficiency programs Experience working with energy efficiency or energy efficient products with a utility, government, non-profit or public agency a plus Willingness and ability to travel, primarily by car approximately 10% of the time Certifications or Accreditations in Commercial or Industrial Energy Efficiency is highly desired
