We are looking for a meticulous individual to assist clients and projects focused on enhancing the energy efficiency of residential properties.

As a Residential Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will engage with multidisciplinary teams and program stakeholders to evaluate applications, ensure health and safety standards, review improvements in residential weatherization, investigate and resolve eligibility issues, and authorize rebates.

We design and implement programs that may encompass incentives, technical support, income-based rates, and other strategic approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the energy efficiency team to ensure the evaluation, execution, and verification of utility-sponsored energy efficiency initiatives are effectively carried out.

Engage with program partners, community organizations, trade allies, and other industry representatives to address inquiries and facilitate the application process.

Examine project application forms and submissions from program partners, contractors, and other participants to confirm adherence to program policies and guidelines.

Support research, analysis, and reporting trends across program participants.
Conduct basic data cleaning, analysis, and interpretation.
Perform desktop reviews and quality assessments of internal, external, and client documentation.

Collaborate with program partners, community organizations, and contractors as necessary to provide technical guidance on energy efficiency, health and safety, and weatherization enhancements.

Review technical specifications, work orders, completion certificates, and invoices related to energy efficiency projects.
Input records into the program database and process applications for program incentive payments in accordance with established guidelines.

Coordinate or follow up on program quality control measures such as inspections, advanced technical evaluations, and program exception rulings as appropriate.

Work with program leaders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Develop and revise program reports and procedural documents.

Utilize detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a reliable resource for senior program management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental studies, energy resources, construction, business, or a related field (applicants may substitute one year of relevant experience for one year of education).

Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative, and contribute effectively as a team member.

Ability to interact with all levels of internal staff, as well as external clients, program partners, and community organizations.
