Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and execution of large-scale renewable energy projects, specifically those with a capacity of 1 megawatt (MW) or more. Your responsibilities will encompass all phases of project management, from land acquisition to the initiation of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage wind and solar projects through various stages of development.
- Collaborate with a team of experts to establish project timelines, cost assessments, and engineering specifications.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure efficient procurement of resources, including labor and materials.
- Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity on project objectives.
- Identify and pursue new renewable project opportunities, including negotiating necessary agreements.
- Support the development team in crafting proposals for potential projects and mergers.
- Assess and mitigate project risks in collaboration with leadership.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze market trends and opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
- Engage with community stakeholders to foster support for project initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in engineering, construction management, or business administration.
- Background in the renewable energy industry.
- Familiarity with local project siting and permitting processes.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

- Proficient in project management software.
- Ability to effectively manage the strategic development of renewable energy projects.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
