Bemana is helping a cutting-edge company that offers unparalleled expertise in precision-machined, complex metal component manufacturing to their customers find a Sales Account Manager to join their growing team.

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing business opportunities with OEMs and end-users nationwide. Frequent travel is required for this opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and identify new business development opportunities within new market segments to further sales diversification objectives.
  • Drive sales revenues by directly managing the entire sales process at target customers, from lead generation to support of final contract negotiations.
  • Handle informational requests from interested potential customers, collect required support documentation (drawings, samples, specs etc..) and develop quotes and proposals.
  • Create and implement strategic sales plans and annual forecasts for designated customer base/region.
  • Routinely communicate and/or meet with key customers to maintain and improve customer relationships.
  • Travel to promote key relationships and to positively impact opportunities.
  • Interact constructively with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and other department staff members.
  • Understand the goals and concepts of our business and incorporate business goals to achieve sales and profitability

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors’ degree is preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of proven sales and business development experience in a metals manufacturing environment.
  • Specific experience in precision metals CNC machining services is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer’s business objectives and processes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely. 
  • Self-starter, able to work independently with direction from management, managing time well.
  • Proven success in developing and executing business development/market penetration plans
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple. deadlines and priorities in a changing environment.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
