Essential Functions: 

Lead month-end tasks and identify and prepare journal entries for assigned area. Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies. Ensure financial statements are accurate. Apply generally accepted accounting principles. Provide guidance to the field on accounting matters. Identify, explain, and communicate variances and the drivers behind them. Perform trend and account analysis, reconcile balance sheet accounts, prepare journal entries, and prepare PBC schedules. Assist with external and SOX audits. Provide exceptional customer services to internal customers. Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience  5+ years of experience  Ability to effectively work with different management levels and personalities. Skills in relationship-building, teamwork, and collaboration. Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and a continuous improvement mind-set.  Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Comfortable with routinely shifting demands. Working knowledge of general office equipment. Ability to prioritize projects and execute and deliver key objectives in a timely manner under tight deadlines. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment.  Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
