Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and oversight to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • General Ledger Management: Manage the general ledger function, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Fixed Assets Supervision: Supervise the fixed assets function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of assets and depreciation.
  • Tax Compliance: Lead the coordination of tax compliance activities, collaborating with external tax firms to ensure timely and accurate filing of all required tax returns.
  • Financial Reporting: Coordinate the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and maintain effective internal controls to prevent financial misstatements.
  • Technical Accounting: Research and determine the appropriate accounting treatment for complex transactions and technical accounting issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
  • Certification: CPA certification.
  • Industry Experience: Manufacturing industry experience, either from industry or public accounting (audit).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Public accounting background and experience working with external auditors and tax firms.
