Job Summary

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at New Perspective Senior Living. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and pristine environment that promotes a homelike atmosphere. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents and be part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Sanitize areas, vacuum carpets, and clean restrooms
  • Wash windows and walls, move and arrange furniture and equipment, and pick up outside garbage
  • Work in cooperation with all other team members to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
  • Stock common areas, replace light bulbs, and tidy throughout the day
  • Eliminate trip hazards and adhere to the community's safety program
  • Understand and carry out oral and written directions
  • Champion hospitality and deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors
  • Ensure an attractive home environment that fosters engagement, socialization, and purposeful living

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
  • Ability to make decisions and act in the residents' best interest
