About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at New Perspective Senior Living. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents, guests, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure each customer is educated on beverages and food items being offered and ensures each order is made as requested.
  • Champion hospitality to all residents, guests, and visitors with excellence in customer service.
  • Work with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to New Perspective standards at all times.
  • Appropriately account for all financial transactions through resident billing and receipts.
  • Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including the Point of Sale System.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or equivalent with solid accounting skills and experience in the hospitality field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing using the English language.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use a variety of electronic devices.
  • Empathy for the challenges experienced by residents and family members and the problem-solving skill sets to support them.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
