Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Sustainable Operations (SO) Technical Solution Leader to join our Resilience Environment Client Development & Technical Solutions team in North America. This senior, market-facing technical leadership position will have direct responsibility to grow business for the US, in the technical areas of Environmental Health Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S), including Digital EHS&S and EHS Advisory / Program Management services. 

The ideal candidate will be based in our US office, with options for remote, onsite, or hybrid work arrangements. Reporting directly to the Resilience Environment Client Development & Technical Solutions Director and in a dotted line to the SO Global Solutions Director, this role is pivotal in our rapidly growing business area, which is a priority in our global strategy and a focus of significant investment in our current strategy cycle. 

Role Accountabilities: The SO Technical Solution Leader will: 

Strategic Leadership : Lead the development and execution of the Technical Solution strategy in alignment with both US and Global Business Area strategies through annual and multi-year plans, motivating teams towards success and building competence & skills aligned with future solution and client need Growth and Innovation : Drive growth in SO revenue, bookings, and margins to meet or exceed targets while maintaining a keen understanding of industry technical developments, emerging trends, and issues to drive innovative solutions and differentiated value propositions.  Collaboration and Influence: Work closely with Technology and Digital teams to develop tools and processes specific to SO services, focusing on standardization and automation. Collaborate with Market Sector Leaders, Key Client Program Account leaders and Technical Experts to develop strategic marketing initiatives and drive key hiring for SO  Client and Market Engagement: Engage directly with clients to strengthen relationships and expand client base while ensuring Arcadis visibility at industry conferences and meetings. Establish themselves as a leading technical voice in industry  Team Leadership and Development: Lead and coach the SO Team, providing clear vision, goals, and objectives. Drive the replication of success within SO from one client account to another. Recruit, develop, and manage team members, fostering a culture of high performance and personal development. 

Qualifications & Experience:  

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree. 15+ years of experience in the professional services industry. 10+ years of experience in SO Solutions. 

Preferred Qualifications :

Advanced degree in a relevant field.  Recognized as a technical leader in SO within the industry. Proven experience as a leader delivering profitable and sustained year-over-year growth.
