PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of the Accounting Manager is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates and assist in the management and functions of the Accounting Department.

The Park Place Financial Business Partner (FBP) serves as a liaison between the store and Corporate Accounting.

The FBP role is responsible for helping the store achieve and maintain strong financial standing by supporting planning, forecasting, compliance, analyzing expense trends and completing accounting functions in support of the leadership teams efforts to achieve maximum profitability, efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness and member and client satisfaction.

Although the FBP role plays out uniquely according to the needs and leadership at each site, the FBP is always in service to the store in the spirit of protecting our members and the company’s assets. With a collaborative, supportive approach, FBPs also offer guidance, provide options, and take initiative to solve problems and help navigate the unknown.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Hires, trains and develops staff Enforces accounting processes and protects the business interests of the owners Prepares standard entries monthly and records to ensure all accruals are accurate and balance sheet adjustments are made to reflect actual inventory balances for assigned companies. Prepares statistical data, posts and verifies monthly for assigned companies. Prints, transmits and forwards copies as directed for assigned companies Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts Reviews monthly schedules for assigned companies for accuracy and completeness Maintains PCL codes for assigned companies, correcting as changes occur. Updates annually to agree with the manufacturers' changes to financial statements Works with Department Managers to communicate and improve dealership processes to assure that company policies and internal control measures are being followed Prepares and gathers all data for input to create Asset Management Charts and Graphs monthly for assigned companies Work with Bookers daily to clear out all PID errors so that all invoices on hold post correctly in accounting by the close of the month Knows and understands the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process, and use the program to achieve client satisfaction Knows and understands the Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policies, and adhere to the requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
