Job Description

As a Leadership Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving organizational success by providing dedicated support to our leadership team. This position blends HR expertise with real-time coaching to leaders to help to facilitate the growth and development of our leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

People Solutions Support: Support leaders through consulting to help them participate in key HR programs Focal Program, Performance Management, etc. Provide guidance to leaders on how to execute key PS programs. Compliance and Audit Support: Manage key compliance and audit activities in the US with regard to labor and rules in partnership with Legal. Separation Management: Partner with BPP and the PX Delivery team to manage the company split within the US domain. Collaborate: Collaborate across the People Solutions, Legal, Country and other functions to deliver intended outcomes. Change Management: Support leaders in navigating organizational changes and transformations. Help communicate change initiatives effectively, address concerns, and mitigate resistance to change within leadership ranks. Data-Driven Insights: Utilize HR analytics and data to provide insights into leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and organizational health. Leverage data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in leadership practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (, PHR, SPHR) is a plus. Proven experience in a similar HR business partnering role, with a focus on supporting senior leadership. Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence leaders at all levels. Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation & Benefits Details

An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs. You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.
