Yarde Metals, Inc. Position: Account Manager/Outside Sales Representative (Metals Service Center - Southeast) Territory: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee Mississippi, Arkansas. Occasional coverage of Texas and Arizona as needed. Summary We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with a successful background in the metals and/or manufacturing industries to expand our current market share in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas, as well as occasional coverage in Texas and Arizona. Being recognized as an Employer of Choice and employing the most experienced and talented associates in the metals industry. Responsibilities: Develop an account retention and sales growth plan. Build strong, value-added business partnerships with customers. Identify customer requirements and present products, services, and programs to meet their needs. Secure contractual opportunities and increase sales through collaboration with product managers and inside sales associates. Regularly follow up and monitor customer satisfaction on the quality of products, services, and delivery performance. Prepare itineraries, call logs, expense reports and update customer account information.  Assist the credit department with accounts receivable and collections activities. Consult with marketing on promotional initiatives. Represent the company in a positive and professional manner in all business and social settings. Continually develop sales skills and acquire knowledge on new products, services, equipment, industry intel, and business trends. Attend association meetings and trade show events to promote products and services through networking. Selectively entertain customers and administer budget proportionally based on account status, sales volume, profit, and overall sales potential. Requirements: College degree strongly preferred. Minimum (5) years of experience directly related to the duties of the position or previous inside sales experience in the metals industry. Proven success in account management or inside sales. Experience directly related to the duties of the position. Strong command of the English language with effective platform and communication skills. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Professional presentation. Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; must operate a company vehicle approximately 70% of the time and do so safely in various weather and traffic conditions. Available to work extended hours and weekends to entertain customers.
