You will also be responsible for capturing deals that meet the company's risk and profitability guidelines within the assigned market.How will you drive value within the organization as an Inside Sales Manager?Act in a buying capacity to ensure the service levels of the team, including communicating credit decisions to the dealer partners within the timeline prescribed and working with the dealer representative to provide a deal structure that is acceptable to all partiesSet departmental goals and develop and maintain a daily employee work schedule that effectively meets the needs of the business unit, company, and customerDemonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team - provide quality training, guidance, performance coaching, and feedback to assigned staffRun daily reports to optimize workflow efficiency; ensure the team meets service level expectations of internal and external customersMonitor the performance of assigned staff against prescribed metrics using appropriate departmental reportsDevelop and maintain positive business relationships with dealers through conversations and solicitations; providing exceptional customer service, effective and timely communications, and responding to credit processing questions and inquiriesMaintain electronic records and filesWhat should you already know to be successful as an Inside Sales Manager?Minimum of bachelor's degree required.Experience in an auto finance operational role or auto industry experience preferredPeople management experience is strongly preferredThorough knowledge of credit-related laws, consumer lending/underwriting concepts, practices, and procedures is strongly preferredExcellent sales skills with an ability to think quickly in a dynamic environment to overcome resistanceAbility to solve problems under pressure and provide creative solutions when necessaryIntrinsically motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify needs, make recommendations for improvement, see recommendations through implementation, and evaluate improvements for effectivenessExceptional interpersonal skillsExceptional oral and written communication skillsProficient computer skills with working knowledge of the internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to effectively set and manage multiple conflicting prioritiesAbility to think strategically and deliver tacticallyEmployment Requirements:Must be able to pass a criminal background checkConstantly operate a computer and other standard office equipmentTalk and hear to exchange accurate informationHave close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive readingThe position does not require travelThis is an exempt level position whereby business need will dictate the exact work schedule which should be expected to vary at times.
