Responsibilities:
Skills for Success:
Handles the mail distribution (incoming and outgoing) for most of Southern California across multiple divisions of Gallagher, processing approximately 250-300 pieces of mail daily through this office
Rsponsible for all electronic delivery of mail to and from carriers and remote workers
Prepares, processes, receives, and distributes all shipments from Vendors (i.e., UPS, Fed-Ex, etc)
In addition to regular mail distribution, the Operations Office Assistant also processes all copy, binding and Project preparation
The Operarations Office Assistant role is cross-trained on all the Operation roles and serves as the back-up receptionist and covers the reception breaks/PTO days and the management of Appspace reservations for employees and conference rooms
Assists with the organization and monitoring of all the conference rooms in Glendale and assisting teams with electronic set up of meetings in conference rooms
Responsible for all supply ordering and stocking for the Branch
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma; no experience required
Computer proficiency
Preferred:
Previous mail room experience or professional office working experience
Office event set up experience
Previous Customer Service experience
Behaviors:
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to effectilvely manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
