Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers through phone, email, and in-person visits.

Identify and establish contact with potential customers to expand market reach.

Follow up on potential sales leads and generate growth in the radiation shielding market and related product offerings.

Attend and coordinate industry trade shows to identify potential leads and create meaningful contact with existing customers.

Manage timely administration of orders to ensure effective communication and processing of customer orders, acknowledgments, and lead times.

Dedicate a minimum of 50% of weekly activities to meeting customers in person to prospect, identify needs, and create sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

Associate or bachelors degree.

Minimum two (2) years sales experience, preferably in outside sales.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher).

Ability to multi-task and self-manage.

Good mathematical skills and strong attention to detail.

Willingness and ability to travel as required for the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in distribution sales or technical sales.

Strong analytical skills.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting, commodity purchasing, and contract negotiation.

Background in a manufacturing environment.

Physical capability to stand, walk, or sit for approximately eight (8) hours per day and to drive or travel by air as needed.
