We are seeking an accomplished data leader to join our team as the driving force behind our Consumer Data Strategy, Operations, and Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives. In this critical role, you will play a key part in developing data strategies that will propel AbbVie towards building a best-in-class consumer data ecosystem. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including BTS, omnichannel analytics, and reporting functions, you will ensure seamless onboarding of essential data and support the prioritization and standardization of metrics within our consumer consumption layer, in close partnership with the Digital Lab team.

As the Associate Director, your primary objectives will focus on two key pillars. Firstly, you will ensure the successful onboarding of data aligned with our strategic priorities, while maintaining the utmost data integrity for downstream consumers. In an ever-evolving landscape, you will also be responsible for building an environment that can effectively withstand the signal loss resulting from cookie deprecation, ensuring uninterrupted data insights. Secondly, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge BI reporting and analytics capabilities, enabling our organization to derive actionable insights and drive informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of Consumer Data experts in developing strategy and supporting reporting operations for our digital transformation initiative.

Develop and implement a comprehensive first party data strategy to collect, store, and analyze consumer data across all touchpoints (website, app, crm) with user consent.

Lead 3rd Party data integration workstream to consolidate all ad-tech data into our consumer data ecosystem and ensure its usability to AbbVie stakeholders.

Work with Publishers to integrate first party data feeds into Enterprise Consumer Data Ecosystem

Develop data quality dashboard to re-affirm, on an ongoing basis, the validity, security, accuracy and responsible use of the data.

Consult with the Digital Brand Teams (DBTs) to guide them on their data needs and balance the cost benefit of initiatives that rely on data innovation. 

Effectively work with cross-functional partners to deliver integrated analytics solutions reflecting the diverse contributions across the consumer marketing functions.

Develop and deliver a UAT framework to have confidence implementing any new data assets or changes in data.

Prioritize requests and facilitate prioritization amongst multiple stakeholders across brand analytics, Lab Data Science, and Media Optimization teams.

Continue learning about the industry changes in the consumer data landscape and leverage those insights to help further craft AbbVie’s consumer data ecosystem.
