About Us: Sacred Healing Lights International (SacredHLI) is a faith-based nonprofit serving communities through two divisions: Walkaway Real Estate and SacredHLI Health. Our Health Division provides telehealth mental health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) recovery services to Medi-Cal eligible clients in Kern & Fresno Counties at launch and gradually across California.
Position:
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our multidisciplinary telehealth team. The ideal candidate will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care in a virtual environment that values empathy, integrity, and cultural sensitivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments via secure telehealth platforms (Zoom + AZZLY Rize).
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in collaboration with Clinical Directors.
- Document all encounters within SacredHLI's HIPAA-compliant EHR system (AZZLY Rize).
- Participate in case reviews, interdisciplinary coordination, and patient care planning.
- Uphold trauma-informed and culturally responsive care standards.
Qualifications:
- Active California Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority (PMHNP preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of psychiatric experience (telehealth experience preferred).
- Current DEA registration and individual malpractice insurance.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to SacredHLI's faith-based mission of community healing.
Pre-Assignment Requirements:
Before receiving caseload assignments, all selected clinicians must successfully complete:
- Reference verification and professional background check.
- Drug screening.
- Credentialing alignment under SacredHLI's managed-care payer structure.
- Full AZZLY Rize EHR setup and telehealth training (includes HIPAA, charting, PDMP/eRx, and documentation standards).
Compensation & Terms:
- $7,200 to $10,400.00 / month (1099 independent contractor).
- 100% remote; work from anywhere in California.
- No billing or payer administration required — SacredHLI manages all claims and reimbursements.
- Eligible for future promotion to Medical Director or Supervising Clinician during expansion phases.
