Join our dynamic team as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional mental health care to our diverse patient population. At Prismatic Therapy LLC (VA, MD, GA) we pride ourselves on providing inclusive care to our clients. Our clinicians utilize evidence based therapeutic approaches such as exposure response prevention for OCD, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy for trauma. We are looking for a PMHNP to join our team, and provide medication management services to a diverse set of clients. What you'll do

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications while monitoring patient responses.
  • Collaborate with professionals within the practice.
  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Basic qualifications

  • Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and behavioral health principles.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as simple practice.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with individuals that experience OCD, PTSD and mood disorders.
  • Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 for accurate medical documentation.
  • Experience with telehealth services to enhance patient access to care.
  • Ability to work with individuals that reside VA and MD
