Position Summary

We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is passionate about integrative mental health and committed to delivering high-quality, client-centered care. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while also collaborating as a team.

This role is telehealth with the option of hybrid depending on location and candidate preference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.

  • Diagnose and treat a range of psychiatric conditions using evidence-based practices.

  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management and integrative recommendations when appropriate.

  • Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other health professionals.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system.

  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and families.

  • Attend team meetings and contribute to a collaborative care culture.

Qualifications

  • Licensed and certified PMHNP in the state of North Carolina, South Carolina, and/or Virginia

  • Must have Malpractice insurance coverage.

  • Must have a collaborating physician

  • Active DEA license and ability to prescribe controlled substances.

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in outpatient psychiatry (preferred, but new grads with strong clinical experience will be considered).

  • Interest in or openness to integrative and holistic approaches to mental health care.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working autonomously.

  • Experience with adolescents is a plus.
