What You Will Be Doing

• Guiding students to establish and reach personal learning objectives, supporting their development as independent learners.
• Delivering focused instruction in foundational literacy and social-emotional competencies, working alongside Reading Specialists.
• Building a classroom culture that promotes curiosity and perseverance through engaging, hands-on activities.
• Leveraging AI-driven educational tools to improve learning outcomes and prepare students for a technology-integrated future.
• Working alongside educators and counselors to customize instruction based on each student's learning preferences and developmental needs.

Educator Key Responsibilities
Lead the cultivation of independent learning habits and essential life skills for Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students, preparing them for both academic achievement and personal development.

Basic Requirements

• Able to work on-site at one of these locations: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Tampa, FL; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years working with children ages 4 - 8 years old in educational, afterschool, sports, or comparable environments.
• Demonstrated ability to apply growth mindset principles and high-performance coaching techniques.
• Eager and comfortable integrating AI and technology into teaching practices.
• Authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements
The following qualifications will strengthen your candidacy, but you are encouraged to apply if you meet the core requirements above:

• Degree or credential in early childhood education, child development, reading intervention, or a related discipline.
• Credentials or specialized training in early learning approaches such as CDA, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia.
• Background as a K-2 teacher, literacy specialist, or reading coach with formal preparation or professional development in reading and phonics instruction.
• Familiarity with environments that prioritize personalized learning and the use of educational technology.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
