This position is located at our warranty depot site in Kansas City, MO. The site address is 600 E 3rd Street, Kansas City, MO 64106.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations. Additionally, this position will control warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of product from production to warehouse to shipping.
Functional Description- Picks-up product by monitoring production; loading and moving product
- Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database
- Prepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems
- Verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; adjusting entries
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases
- Monitors inventory by completing counts as required
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Create and keep track of all needed purchase orders
- Maintain records/record systems using CAF RS RP System
- Provide administrative support to ensure that municipal operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
- Other duties as required and assigned
- High School Diploma / GED 2-4 year degree in Accoutning/Finance or equalivent experience preferred
- Experienced in Microsoft Office, partitcularly Microsoft Excel, is a must
- Ability to understand Technical Documentation is desirable: drawings for example

- Must be self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills essential for day to day operations
- Must meet commitments and track daily tasks

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Understanding oral and written Spanish highly desirable
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Shall report all injuries/illnesses to their supervisor that occur at work, the day of the incident
- Shall report any unsafe conditions that are identified in their respective work area to their supervisor
- Shall comply with all CAF USA safety policies, procedures, and requirements that are communicated to them, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures
- Shall wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is communicated and supplied to them
- Shall keep their respective work area clean and orderly at all times
- Shall attend all CAF USA required training as soon as possible before the start of their assigned work
- Shall NOT operate any CAF USA equipment (forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts) until certified to do so

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18 per hour to $20 per hour.
