Location: Permian Basin, Texas (Remote with regional travel)
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Representative to join our sales team, specializing in direct sales of drill bits to exploration companies in the Permian Basin. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key exploration companies, understanding their needs, and offering high-performance drill bit solutions tailored to meet their demands. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing business with a competitive, uncapped commission structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively identify and engage new business opportunities with exploration companies operating in the Permian Basin.
- Develop and nurture relationships with customers to understand their drilling program needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Present, promote, and sell drill bit solutions to current and prospective customers, focusing on our performance-driven product line.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer programs, well locations, and regional market trends.
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity reports with accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that align with customer requirements.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth objectives.
- Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in the oil & gas or drill bit industry.
- Knowledge of drilling operations and familiarity with the needs of exploration companies in the Permian Basin.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and convey technical specifications and product benefits effectively.
- Self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Permian Basin region to meet with clients and prospects.
- Uncapped Commission with Draw: Competitive base draw with an aggressive, uncapped commission structure.
- Car Allowance & Expense Account: Monthly car allowance and expense account to support travel and customer engagement activities.
