Key Account Sales Manager

Job Summary:
Savvi’s Key Account Sales Manager is responsible for developing strategies designed to drive profitable growth in both our “core” businesses through the management and growth of our Key Retail and OEM partners to increase market share. They will be responsible for relationship development, identifying customer needs, developing opportunities, delivering sales presentations, answering objections, and closing the sale. This position will be responsible for assigned existing accounts and growing the business through new account prospecting and acquisition.
Savvi believes in being “customer centric”. Key account sales managers should be prepared to be hands on in aiding in the complete selling cycle from prospecting, product presentation, and account management, through being able to work with internal teams seamlessly on shipments, replenishment, AR, customer deductions, etc. to create the best possible customer experience for our partners.
This position can be remote, hybrid, or in office.

Core duties and responsibilities include:
· Growing the company’s revenue by ensuring key clients are satisfied with the products and services provided.
· Identifying new business opportunities.
· Attending all meetings, conventions, and training workshops.
· Developing relationships with potential clients.
· Promoting products and services offered by company.
· Support key customers.
· Maintenance of business relationships.
· Optimization of customer processes.
· General sales tasks and performs sale review.
· Following up with clients and maintaining regular contact.
· Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of products according to customer needs.
· Staying up to date with new products.
· Provide Marketing, NPD, and Sales organizations with customer feedback and competitive intel on a timely basis. Develop and maintain “subject matter expert” status on new and existing products, categories, and competitive landscape.
· Be able to sell both from a set catalog of products as well as sell our manufacturing capabilities to all business channels we sell.
Requirements:Required Skills/Abilities:
· Strong sales knowledge.
· Analytical and strategic thinking.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and Google Suite.
· Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
· Understanding of sales performance metrics.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as customer service skills
· Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proactive approach toward problem-solving.
· Self-motivated.
· Team player with a high level of dedication.
· Ability to create and communicate sales presentations.
· Ability to travel – up to 20%
· Self-starter who demonstrates an ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
· Appropriate interpersonal skills and attitudes to promote and support productive working relationships.
· Understanding of retail math, ability to understand retail marketplace, and wholesale KPI’s.
· Advanced negotiation skillsets with demonstrated experience.
· Team player with ability to build strong relationships and cross functional partnerships. A real collaborator with internal partners and stakeholders.
· Connection with our Product Categories, Brand, and Value
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
· 5+ years’ experience in a sales and/or sales support function, preferably within the wholesale or manufacturing side of the CPG industry.
· Experience working in the Gift, Toy, or Stationary Industries and/or strong network and relationships within our industry would be preferred but not necessary.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift to 35 pounds at times.
