Job Title: Accounting Manager

Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, optimizing financial processes, supporting strategic decision-making, and overseeing payroll functions. This is a confidential position that requires a high level of integrity and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Oversight:

  • · Provide leadership in all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • · Monitor financial performance against established targets and make recommendations for improvement.

2. Compliance:

  • · Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
  • · Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and implement necessary changes in company procedures.

3. Financial Strategy:

  • · Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the overall goals and objectives of the company.

4. Internal Controls:

  • · Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • · Continuously evaluate and enhance internal control systems.

5. Financial Reporting:

  • · Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports as required by company leadership and the Parent company.

6. Budgeting:

  • · Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop and manage budgets.
  • · Monitor budget performance and provide guidance for cost control.

7. Cash Management:

  • · Oversee cash flow and collections to optimize cash utilization while ensuring liquidity.

8. Team Leadership:

  • · Manage and develop the finance team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship.
  • · Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the department.

9. Payroll:

  • · Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • · Stay current with payroll regulations and implement necessary changes in payroll procedures.
  • · Collaborate with HR to ensure seamless integration between payroll and HR functions.

Qualifications:

  • · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • · Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • · Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • · Exceptional financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • · Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • · Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • · High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
