Accounts Payable Manager

Responsibilities:
• Establish and implement Policies and Procedures to streamline accounts payable processes and enhance team performance.
• Supervise Accounts Payable staff, including accounts payable clerks and administrative support.
• Manage the timely payment of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, ensuring accurate records and control reports are maintained.
• Coordinate with top-level management to set priorities and timelines for accounts payable activities.
• Oversee the vendor lien waiver process, including maintaining the Vendor Lien waiver log and setting priorities.
• Handle accounts payable activities for direct ship invoices, including receipt, payment, and shipment posting.
• Oversee all transactional and operational activities related to the Accounts Payable.
• Recruit, motivate, coach, and train Accounts Payable staff to improve performance.
• Act as a point of contact for business partners regarding accounts payable and vendor waivers.
• Ensure all payments have been correctly applied to customer accounts or refunded promptly.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.• Proficiency in Account Coding.
• Knowledge of Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services.
• Proficiency in Concur.
• Skills in Data Processing.
• Understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP).
• Familiarity with Accrual Accounting.
• Auditing skills.
• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH).
