Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Medical Administrator and Patient Coordinator who excels in patient management, scheduling, and clinic operations. In this role, you will work closely with doctors and healthcare staff to ensure efficient clinic workflow, manage patient follow-ups, and serve as the primary liaison between patients, doctors, insurance companies, and pharmacies.

While a familiarity with medical billing is helpful, your primary responsibility will be administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. You’ll oversee patient scheduling, ensure proper follow-up, submit orders, and coordinate care between all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient scheduling for clinic appointments, follow-ups, and procedures, ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations.
  • Serve as the main liaison between doctors, patients, insurance companies, and pharmacies, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Oversee patient management processes, including intake, record maintenance, and patient follow-up to ensure continuity of care.
  • Submit orders for tests, medications, and follow-up care to appropriate parties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate insurance pre-authorizations, verifications, and act as a point of contact for insurance companies to resolve any issues related to patient care or billing.
  • Ensure that all medical records and documentation are up to date, properly filed, and compliant with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to doctors and clinic staff, including managing schedules, setting up meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist with medical billing tasks as needed, including claim submissions and working with billing specialists to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Help to improve and implement administrative processes to streamline clinic efficiency and enhance patient experience.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in medical administration, patient management, or clinic operations.
  • Familiarity with medical billing processes and terminology, though not the primary focus of the role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with experience managing schedules, patient records, and workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, doctors, insurance companies, and pharmacies.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinic management software.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting such as a clinic or hospital is highly preferred.
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail in managing administrative tasks and patient coordination.

How to Apply:
If you have a strong background in medical administration, patient coordination, and clinic operations, we’d love to hear from you Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your qualifications and experience.
