Position Summary

Act as a liaison between the customer and the field service team to ensure appropriate scheduling and deployment of team members in order to meet contractual obligations. Reacts in a timely manner to customer requests ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule the field service team to ensure efficient and profitable utilization for machine installations, general repair and maintenance and /or warranty service calls.
  • Coordinate the activities and provide direction for the field service team and their assigned projects and or service jobs.
  • Ensure that the field service team has necessary resources including documentation and specialty tools needed for modification, machine installation and customer service appointments.
  • Prepare estimates for the customer.
  • Track estimates and follow up with customers on offers.
  • Create workbooks for the field service team.
  • Review field service reports and follow up on necessary actions for customer.
  • Manage and organize field service data on the network.
  • Maintain operational reference documents such as work visa status and tool calibration logs..
  • Report gaps in productivity to support the achievement of the annual team budget.
  • Collaborate as needed with Company colleagues to ensure proper invoicing.
  • Represent department on cross-functional teams or projects throughout the organization.
  • Provide process improvements to the department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Basic Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience working in a Field Service, Project Coordinator or Schedule Planning capacity
  • 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office; Excel, Outlook and Word, in a business environment

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all phases of work performed
  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Ability to maintain interpersonal relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both as a team and independently
  • Knowledge of SAP

The compensation range for the non-exempt position is between $25-$31/hour

Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At Syntegon compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at Syntegon include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
