Summary: Seeking a Payroll Operations Manager to lead a team and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • High school/GED Degree

  • Minimum ten years of payroll experience

  • Proficiency with payroll data analytics

  • Previous experience managing staff

  • Proficiency with vendor systems such as UKG, Business Intelligence Reports, and Deltek (Costpoint)

  • Knowledge of applicable federal laws and regulations (SCA, DCAA, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, Human Resources or related field

  • CPP or alternative payroll certification

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external business partners

  • Ability to lead meetings in multiple payroll functions and projects

Responsibilities:

  • Lead seven payroll team members to ensure accurate and timely execution of work

  • Drive a culture of service excellence within the team

  • Review daily work performance of direct reports

  • Monitor established payroll processing metrics

  • Ensure accurate payroll processing, reconciliation, and recordkeeping

  • Ensure accuracy of payroll deductions for employee contributions

  • Develop action plans to mitigate operational risks

  • Serve as a point of escalation for high-risk questions/issues

  • Oversee overpayment process compliance

  • Support SOX and other compliance audits

 

 Pay: 50-57

Pay Details: $50.00 to $57.00 per hour
