Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:
• Manage and process payroll using accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Deltek Costpoint
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and employee data
• Resolve any payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries about payroll
• Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Manage the administration of benefits including 401k - RRSP Administration
• Handle various accounting functions related to payroll
• Utilize Crystal Reports to generate detailed reports for management
• Collaborate with the Accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Stay updated on the latest payroll trends, statutory tax laws, and best practices
• Work closely with HR and Benefit Functions to ensure accurate payroll deductions and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Prior usage of ADP Workforce Now is essential
• Familiarity with Ceridian is necessary
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports is expected
• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is required
• Proficiency in About Time is advantageous
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is needed
• Auditing skills are desirable
• Familiarity with Benefit Functions is beneficial
• Prior usage of Deltek Costpoint is advantageous
