Job DescriptionJob Description

The Patient Access Associate is responsible for performing registration procedures for incoming patients and occasional pre-registration for applicable outpatient cases, establishing and/or maintaining a patient's medical record by collecting necessary demographic, clinical, and financial information for all patients, and entering this information into the Washington Health System computer system while maintaining complete confidentiality in regard to all information received.

Responsibilities:

  1. Accountable and responsible for performing registration procedures for incoming patients and occasional pre-registration for applicable outpatient cases, establishing and/or maintaining a patient’s medical record by collecting necessary demographic, clinical, and financial information for all patients, and entering this information into the Washington Health System computer system while maintaining complete confidentiality in regard to all information received.
  2. Demonstrates competency in Washington Health System Core Patient Access Associate Skills & Responsibilities.
  3. Completes all work skills according to established Washington Health System Core Patient Access Associate Skills & Responsibilities.

Shift: Primarily will work 11AM-9PM and 2PM-12AM, but can rotating other shifts if needed: 6a-4:00p, 6:30a - 4:30p, 7am-5pm, 8am-6pm, 11a-9p, 2p-12am, 3p-1a, 9p-7a, 10p-8a. Rotating weekends and holidays.
