As a Patient Access Representative with CommonSpirit Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless patient experience. Your primary responsibility will be to perform a variety of administrative tasks associated with the patient intake process, including checking patients in and out, collecting and entering demographic and financial data, and gathering and validating insurance information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register and check patients in and out
  • Handle and reconcile payments
  • Monitor and reconcile issues prior to patient visit
  • Process referral orders and pre-authorizations
  • Coordinate appointments and ancillary services
  • Respond to patient questions regarding routine billing and insurance matters
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong customer service background, with a minimum of one year of experience in a customer-facing role. Healthcare or call center experience is preferred.

You will also need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

As a Patient Access Representative, you will be working closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.
