Customer Service Representative

We are in the healthcare insurance industry and are currently in need of a Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Representative who has a Health and Accident License in their state of residence based in San Francisco, California. This role falls under contract employment and will involve working remotely. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and will be crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance to customers, helping them navigate the healthcare system effectively
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
• Use your skills in data entry to maintain accurate records of customer interactions
• Leverage your understanding of health insurance to recommend and enroll customers in suitable plans
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth customer service process, contributing to the team's overall performance
• Stay updated with the latest products and services offered by the company to provide accurate information to customers
• Actively participate in training sessions and team meetings to continuously improve your performance
• Use your problem-solving skills to handle complex customer issues, escalating them to higher authorities when necessary
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed
• Uphold the company's standards in all customer interactions, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

• Must be bilingual in Spanish
• Must have an active Health and Accident Life Insurance license *licenses in more than one state preferred*
• At least 1 year experience in AMA Marketplace
• Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Proficient in relevant computer applications and data entry
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm and professional
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Must have strong ethical standards and integrity
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and procedures.
