Collaborative Support Specialist

This is a 100% on-site position. Candidates must reside on Oahu by start date. No relocation assistance.
The Collaborative Support Specialist will be responsible for testing and installing tools and applications in a Microsoft environment, assist with system development and modifications, as well as provide guiding on configuration control processes, procedures, and improvements. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation, guides, and management plans in accordance with organization and DoD standards. Qualified candidates will exhibit a high level of professionalism, strong organization skills, and advanced Microsoft proficiency along with effective writing and communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Track and manage software version control processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance and resolving or escalating issues as needed.
- Administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, taking detailed notes, preparing meeting recaps, maintaining calendars, and organizing task assignments.
- Oversee daily configuration management activities, including facilitating communication between business and IT teams, delegating priorities, and assigning work.
- Provide technical support as a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator, including managing permissions, site collections, and customizing lists, libraries, and Web Parts.
- Develop training materials and deliver instruction to large groups, senior leadership or individual users to support operational needs.
- Support Microsoft Teams integration with SharePoint and OneDrive and using tools within Microsoft’s Power Platform.
- Maintain and customize SharePoint Communication and Team sites, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve internal policies, practices, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Knowledge in business processes and IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in an understandable and concise way.
- Task oriented, ability to quickly learn new technical skills and self-driven.
- Sharepoint site level management knowledge.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite and Sharepoint.
- Ability to support Microsoft Power Platforms to create Sharepoint integrated forms and applications.
- Excellent Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be comfortable working with a highly visible, dynamic team with multiple customers and wide user base.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field.
- CompTIA Security+ preferred.
