About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Queen's Health System as a Patient Transporter and Patient Care Support Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting patients, assisting with patient preps, and performing other duties such as processing instruments, restocking supplies, and cleaning equipment according to prescribed procedures.

Typical Working Conditions:

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to blood products, body fluids, secretions, patient diseases, chemicals, and materials typical in surgery.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to read, speak, and understand English. General academic background necessary to understand basic asepsis and sterile techniques. Current certification in BLS/HCP. Previous experience as a transporter and/or patient care support specialist is preferred.
