Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Tempe, Arizona. This role is within the international shipping and customs sector, requiring proficiency in Excel. The workplace is dynamic and fast-paced, necessitating a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and streamlining international shipping procedures
• Handling and resolving customer inquiries efficiently
• Processing and verifying customer credit applications with precision
• Regularly maintaining and updating customer credit records
• Using Excel to manage and track customer accounts
• Taking appropriate action based on the monitoring of customer accounts
• Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and procedures.• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role
• Proficiency in International Shipping processes and procedures
• Solid understanding of Customs regulations and requirements
• Advanced skills in spreadsheet software, including pivot tables and complex formulas
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
• Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative when required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent education level required
• Previous experience in a logistics or shipping environment would be a plus.
