HR/Payroll Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently working with a company looking for an HR/Payroll Manager in the Grand Prairie TX area. If you have the qualifications listed below and are interested in this opportunity- apply with us today
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all HR, payroll, and benefits administration functions.
Human Resources:
Maintain policies and procedures, employee handbook, job descriptions, new hire and termination documentation, 401k, COBRA, Flex-Spending and Vacation/Sick time.
Listen to all employee issues, document, and advise management of the situation, follow-up meetings and conference calls till completely resolved.
Payroll:
Responsible for coordination, management, and documentation of company Annual and Mid-Year
Review process through Payroll system.
Process employee files and payroll in ADP Workforce Now system.
Administer wage garnishments and respond to agencies as instructed.
Assist ADP with new state set ups and tax requirements
On-boarding and terminating employees:
Work with management team to identify employee needs
Train new employees on handbook and company payroll processes
Manage employee performance improvement plan deadlines
Support management with termination processes
Benefits:
Benefit administration including new hires, terminations, salary changes and annual open enrollment in benefits carrier websites
Administer COBRA, Flex Benefit processing, LOA, Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD).
Qualifications:
3-5 years minimum of relevant experience in HR, payroll, and benefits administration
Full cycle multistate payroll processing experience required
Employee benefits set up experience
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and HRIS applications (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
Strong understanding of HR policies
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work efficiently and accurately while prioritizing work
Details:
Onsite, M-F, 8-5
Pay: $60,000-85,000 annually
