Regional Sales Director

Are you an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of success in selling to broker-consultant clients? Do you want to leverage your expertise to significantly alleviate the financial stress of employees at various corporations?
LHH is collaborating with a voluntary benefits company based in Atlanta to find a Regional Sales Director who will achieve this goal
This hybrid position is crucial for expanding the company's sales reach and client base across Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and the Carolinas. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of successful experience in selling and marketing voluntary benefits or HR products, is passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives, and is eager to play a central role in the company's growth.
The compensation package includes a strong base salary of $90k - $100k, depending on success and experience, along with uncapped commissions, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401k, and PTO.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals and increase market share.
Motivate and train brokers the company has partnered with on the program to generate excitement and enthusiasm for our offerings.
Establish new relationships with broker-consultants and attract new employer clients through broker channels.
Maintain strong relationships with existing brokers to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
Transition broker relationships to the internal Broker Account Manager once the sale is completed.
Pursue new business opportunities with direct employer clients when available.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or 8+ years of sales experience in the employee voluntary benefits or HR services industry may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience in selling employee benefits to medium-large organizations, either directly or through insurance brokers.
Background in sales, cold calling, and presenting to new prospects.
Strong strategic, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to travel 50% to 75%.
