We are offering a short-term contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Entry Level Segment Risk Specialist in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be working in the industry, focusing on key areas such as risk management, data management, and cybersecurity. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate completion of all control testing requirements and facilitate risk and control self-assessments.


Responsibilities:

• Execute and maintain a proactive risk management program, enhancing it continually

• Aid in the identification and analysis of potential risks within the organization

• Collaborate with technology Segment Risk Managers to establish and sustain relationships with key stakeholders and technology teams

• Provide necessary support for policy controls and process documentation, ensuring all team processes are well-documented and maintained

• Work closely with the business and technology teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of processes and controls

• Assist in the remediation of issues in a timely manner, providing support to the risk partners and business segment

• Contribute to the team's continuous improvement culture, applying critical thinking skills and experiences to suggest improvements

• Foster a risk-awareness culture within the organization

• Ensure quality completion of all control testing requirements in accordance with organizational guidelines.

• Proven Customer Service skills, demonstrating the ability to provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong Communication Skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to all levels of the organization.
• Understanding and experience in implementing Policy and Quality standards.
• Ability to work with Stakeholders and Partners to form effective working relationships.
• Excellent Time Management skills to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to Collaborate across various teams and departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge and understanding of Risk Management principles and practices.
• Experience in Business Process Functions and ability to identify potential risk areas.
• Familiarity with Cyber Security measures and protocols.
• Ability to work with Business Partners to ensure alignment of risk management strategies.
• Demonstrated skills in Data Management, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.
• Strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information.
• Excellent Written Communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
• Critical Thinking skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and information.
• Experience in Remediation processes, including identifying and addressing risk issues.
• Proven ability to Drive Continuous Improvement in risk management strategies and processes.
• Ability to Maintain Relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
• Experience in Technical Writing, with the ability to produce clear and concise risk reports.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) principles and practices.
• Experience in Control Testing, with the ability to identify and address potential risk areas.
