About this Role

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Segment Risk Manager (RACF) to fill an open position with one of our banking clients.

This role focuses on managing and mitigating risks within a z/OS mainframe environment, emphasizing RACF security. The successful candidate will design, implement, and audit RACF policies while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage RACF security policies to minimize risks and ensure compliance.
  • Perform regular audits and risk assessments of RACF configurations and access controls.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to align RACF policies with organizational risk strategies.
  • Provide documentation and support for compliance audits and regulatory requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with RACF in a z/OS mainframe environment.
  • Proven expertise in risk management and security within mainframe systems.
  • Experience conducting security audits, risk assessments, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Background in regulated industries such as finance or healthcare.

Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of RACF architecture, policies, and risk management techniques.
  • Proficiency with RACF administration tools and utilities.
  • Knowledge of IBM z/OS mainframe environments and security tools.
  • Strong skills in log analysis, security monitoring, and compliance reporting.
