Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in the hunt for a Segment Risk Manager: IV (Lead) to join our team based in Columbus, Ohio. This role is focused on managing risk within the technology sector, with an emphasis on cybersecurity. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing and implementing automation of technology risk controls within a diverse tech environment.

Responsibilities:
• Develop automation solutions for technology controls in collaboration with control and platform owners
• Understanding and assessing current risk controls in collaboration with IT Risk and Cyber teams
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices during code development
• Support control owners actively during periodic control testing
• Maintain automation scripts, code, etc. for controls throughout their lifecycle
• Lead the design and development of new technology controls, applying best practices for control design and automation
• Design and develop control automation that delivers proactive, real-time functionality, eliminating manual validation
• Maintain industry and technology risk knowledge to ensure solutions are aligned with best practices.• Possess strong Communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Have knowledge and experience in Design and Automation.
• Demonstrate a background in Engineering and Optimization.
• Be proficient in Python programming language.
• Exhibit strong Collaboration and team working skills.
• Have Coding experience and knowledge of Best Practices.
• Have a strong understanding and experience in Risk Management.
• Showcase excellent Interpersonal Skills.
• Experience in the Financial Services sector.
• Familiarity with different Methodologies and Frameworks.
• Show Proficiency in Computer Sciences.
• Have a strong understanding of Principles related to the role.
• Be proficient in R Code.
• Have knowledge and experience in Cyber Security.
• Be able to conduct Risk Assessment.
• Exhibit a strong drive for Innovation.
• Be able to create and execute Validation Plans.
• Have experience using GIT.
• Having A Plus certification is desirable.
• Ability to Drive Continuous Improvement in all tasks.
