Job Title: Cybersecurity ControlsLocation: Columbus, OH (3 days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)Type: 3+ Months Contract to hireContract - Only W2TECHNICAL SKILLSMust Have \"Collaborate with appropriate IT, Risk and Cyber teams to understand and assess current risk controls to identify opportunities for optimization and automation Based on analysis, and in collaboration with control and platform owners, design, build, test, and implement automation solutions for technology controls Align and adhere to industry best practices for code development and hygiene Active participation and support of control owners in periodic control testing Maintain currency of automation scripts, code etc. for controls throughout the lifecycle Lead design and development of new technology controls applying industry best practices for control design and automation Objectively design/develop control automation which delivers proactive/real time functionality eliminating manual validation Support and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement Maintain industry and technology risk currency to ensure solutions are aligned with best practices\"Nice To HaveCurrent or Former control owner with the ability to manage, maintain and automate IT and Cybersecurity Controls. Strong understanding of designing control automation while reducing risk for the company. Strong understanding of key regulatory frameworks and how they apply to already established controls. \"Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with appropriate IT, Risk and Cyber teams to understand and assess current risk controls to identify opportunities for optimization and automationBased on analysis, and in collaboration with control and platform owners, design, build, test, and implement automation solutions for technology controlsAlign and adhere to industry best practices for code development and hygieneActive participation and support of control owners in periodic control testingMaintain currency of automation scripts, code etc. for controls throughout the lifecycleLead design and development of new technology controls applying industry best practices for control design and automationObjectively design/develop control automation which delivers proactive/real time functionality eliminating manual validationSupport and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvementMaintain industry and technology risk currency to ensure solutions are aligned with best practicesBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field10 years of experience in risk management, engineering, or a technology-related role.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperiential knowledge and interaction with IT platform engineeringProficiency in one or more programming languages/platforms commonly used for automation such as Python and AnsibleExperience in building and developing common automation workflowsExperience with operating and/or implementing technology risk controls in an enterprise environmentWorking knowledge of ADO/GitFamiliarity with Agile development practicesUnderstanding of risk assessment methodologies and tools.Working knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements for financial servicesWorking knowledge and experience with Archer or other GRC toolsWorking knowledge and experience with SPLUNK and Service NowDirect experience with development and automation of technology controlsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Professional certifications in technology and/or risk management are a plus.
