Robert Half is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our client in Metairie, Louisiana. This role involves a range of administrative tasks within the industry, including answering inbound calls, data entry, and customer service. The workplace environment is business casual and the individual will be utilizing Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:


• Serve as the first point of contact for inbound calls, ensuring efficient routing to the collections team

• Provide general clerical support to various departments to facilitate smooth operations

• Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail

• Utilize Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook for various tasks

• Handle and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintain customer records and monitor customer accounts for any necessary action

• Assist in processing customer credit applications, adhering to the company's procedures and guidelines.

• Ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally and politely

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained

• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook

• Prior experience in customer service roles

• Strong ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

• Ability to answer inbound calls and effectively address customer queries

• Experience in data entry and maintaining databases

• Capability to manage email correspondence professionally and efficiently

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Display of initiative in problem-solving and troubleshooting

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively

• High level of discretion and judgement in handling confidential information
