Job Title: Administrative Assistant Coordinator

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative assistant to support our foundation's goals. The ideal candidate will efficiently provide administrative and clerical services and report directly to the President & CEO of HCCL.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree, preferably related to Business Administration, and proficiency in MS Office Suite, Apple software, Microsoft Office, and Outlook. They will also have basic knowledge of various social media channel management and graphic design.

Responsibilities:
* Create spreadsheets, orientation kits, and resource packages* Plan programs, job fairs, and community resource events, including venue research, speaker requests, and follow-ups* Supervise all administrative aspects of workshops and events, including registrations, confirmations, certificates, and materials preparation for seminar venues* Provide customer service to members regarding membership benefits, business resources, events, etc.* Be available to attend events outside of regular office hours* Supervise all social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Mailchimp* Respond to emails and correspondence throughout the day* Manage incoming calls and address inquiries from the Hispanic community* Follow up on foundation sponsor programs* Prepare reports and program updates for sponsors* Visit various consulates and non-profit organizations to inform the community about workshops* Coordinate and participate in radio spots, television, and newspaper media* Provide topics of interest to the community in workshops* Connect with various non-profit organizations to provide informative workshops to the community* Provide support at various HCCL events* Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Apple software, Microsoft Office, and Outlook* Basic knowledge of various social media channel management and graphic design* 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced business environment* Physical ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations* Occasional light lifting and extended periods of sitting at a computer station

Compensation:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 per year, paid bi-weekly. Additional benefits include official holidays and a flexible schedule.
